Each Giclee is produced individually with 6-color pigmented inks, applied directly by microjet spray to finest-quality gessoed canvas. Each is created in the artist's studio, and custom sizes are available. After the printing (which takes 45-50 minutes each) is complete, the artist applies a high-quality varnish containing further protection from the sun's ultraviolet rays. The Giclee is then signed and numbered, and is shipped rolled. Giclees can be stretched or pressure-mounted by your framer before the frame is fitted directly to the piece. Neither glass nor matting is necessary for framing a Giclee. The final piece appears very much like an original painting. For custom orders, please call the artist at 256-235-2120.
